Defining your links later

We are going to go over how to add more keywords using the Bulk upload feature in just a second but first we want to show you some of the features that your looking at on this page.

Every search engine that you deal with in the future will have features similiar they just may be called a different name to prevent lawsuits for copywrite infringment.  Overture.com is lawyer happy on any PPC search engine that threatens their monopoly.  If you ever dream of trying to start one of these have lawyers on speed dial you will need them.

Now in this next graphic we have circled the URL Filter. The method we are showing you will have you putting in hundreds of links and you will need to change things from time to time and you can search the listing by the URL.  You can update the URL seperately from the Keywords. Change the text and not have to go back in and re-add your keywords all over again.  Lets face some products may be gone next year. Features change or you may have changed the location and/or structure of your website.  So there is method to our madness.  We plan for you to grow, change and come up with new and better ideas as time goes on.  We want to make sure we make it as painless as possible to make changes.point out the keyword filter graphic

You also will notice a keyword filter which allows you to find single listing based on a keyword you used for that listing.  So if you followed instructions and used a Part-Number as your first keyword you know over the years as your list grows you can always find that listing by doing a search by part number. I did this because of BROWNING. That company changes part numbers every 3 months it seems.  You will use this feature to try and keep up with companies that can't seem to make up their mind what the part number of product should be. Or if you need to find a specific product to delete or SUSPEND for a while because maybe the distrubtors are out of stock for the next 3 months.  No sense spending money on products you can sell.  Traffic is nice but that is not what we are buying with a PPC its CUSTOMERS.  Hopefully you see the benefit to this as a maintainence issue later on.Modify the url link  For now we should only have one link on the page and there is no need to filter to find what we are looking for.

Here is a Hint about Titles if later on your using the pull-down filter to find a URL and you can't find what your looking for. Neither can your customers.  That is why we list the URLS by Title.  If its clear to you a few months later. Its likely clear to your customers.

What we have circled now is the URL.  Once you found the URL your wanting to work on this is where you would click if you had to modify where your keywords pointed to.  Lets say we wanted to change it http://www.aagunsales.com/guns/shotguns/over-unders/1226.htm  This is what we would clcik on to make that happen.Modifing a specific keyword or link

 Now we have circled the specific link.  By clicking here you can modify anything about that link.  Now this is different than the URL modify because your modifing only ONE KEYWORD.  So lets say we add a new and seperate page for the 28 inch versus versus the 26.  We would click the link with the keyword KRL-1228-BR and change the title and the URL to read and point to our 28" guns.  The more specific you are the less money you spend and the more money you make.  Your trading labor for money.  Again by using our Excel spreadsheet you will find it much easier to modify other Search engines with mass uploads.add more links 

The Next feature on this page is the Add Link button this is what you just went through but more secifically a link is really 2 parts a URL and a keyword. So adding another link really means adding more keywords and/or adding more URLS.  We will go over a Bulk Submission process in a few minutes and it will become more clear as you view the page what we mean by Link.  The reason we use the word link is that is what we are creating.  Our search engine POINTS to your  a page on your site.  So as your trying to Increase Link Popularity its not the NUMBER of SITES that point to you but the number of LINKS.  So when you add 400 keywords in your link rating will be 400 as the spiders find all of those links and we will show you a secret to MAKING the spiders find those links which will increase your search rank in the FREE Engines and get  you more FREE traffic. 

We have said this many times Most of what we ask you to do has more than just a Single cause and effect. There is no way for us to open up your mind and dump years of knowledge in so that you can understand the full answer to the big," WHY?" that always comes up.  Just know that the goal at all times is to SELL MORE PRODUCT, MAKE MORE MONEY.  Remember that the other PPC's you will use are trying to get MORE CLICKS,because its pay per click.  More clicks=More money  from you to them.  Overture changed how they do business the past 2 years and we see more clicks and less sales as a result good for them bad for business.
